I use these strings and love them as much as you can love a string set. I like the tension and the bark you get from a heavy top three strings. Many of today’s top players are using these gauges. DR’s have a killer tight punchy tone that lasts and lasts. Even when the strings go dead I can still hear the piano like windings. I can’t say that for any other string I’ve ever played. I have been using this set on all of my YouTube lesson video’s since November 2010 so if you like the tone you hear there you’ll love these strings.
