At JimmyHeffernan.com, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are unhappy for any reason, we will honor a return according to the guidelines below.

1. General Return Requirements
Time Limit: You may return items within 30 days of the original purchase date.

Condition: Items must be returned in the original packaging.

2. Specific Product Categories
🎶 DVDs & CDs (Instructional/Music Media)
Due to the ease of copying digital media, our policy for DVDs and CDs is as follows:

Defective/Damaged Discs: If a disc is defective or damaged upon arrival, we will gladly exchange it for a new, working copy of the same title.

Sealed Media: If the DVD or CD is unopened and still in its original sealed plastic wrap, you may return it for a full refund.

Opened Media: If a disc has been opened, we can only offer an exchange for the exact same title if the original disc is defective. We cannot offer refunds on opened DVDs or CDs unless the item is proven to be faulty or non-functional.

🪕 Dobro Gear & Accessories
This category includes items like strings, slides, capos, tuning machines, instructional books, etc.

Condition: Gear must be returned in new, unused, and resellable condition, complete with all original parts and packaging.

Used Gear: If a piece of gear shows signs of use (e.g., used strings, scuffed slides, installed tuning machines), we may reserve the right to offer a partial refund or deny the return.

3. Return Process

Packaging: Securely package the item along with a copy of the original receipt

Shipping: Mail the package to:

Shipping Costs: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is a result of our error (e.g., you received an incorrect or defective item).

4. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5 business days.
